Are there warehouse rules?
Warehouse donations are only accessible to our current nonprofit and organizational partners and their designated staff and volunteers. Clients and voucher recipients may not come to the warehouse.
-
There should be no more than 2 adult shoppers from your organization. No young children please. It is recommended to wear closed toe shoes to the warehouse for safety reasons.
-
Only redistribution partners should come for shopping appointments. The goods should be distributed to the people you serve, outside the warehouse, in your community. No clients are allowed in the warehouse.
-
No pets should be brought into the warehouse unless they are a certified service animal. The warehouse is often busy with forklift and pallet jack traffic and there can be dangerous materials on the floor (broken glass, chemicals, nails.) This is for the safety of the pet, our volunteers and our staff.
-
Goods should be paid for and picked up the day of shopping (cash, check or credit cards)
Is there any kind of administrative fee?
HEART pays an administrative fee to receive most of our donations. We often charge an administrative fee on our donations out to partners, usually about 10-15% of the current retail value of the products. This helps cover expenses and keeps us running.
We accept all major credit cards and contactless payment methods, cash and checks.
