When you visit heartrt.org, we may collect the following data:

Your IP address and browser type
Anonymous data profile showing which pages you visit on heartrt.org
Google analytics data, which google has access to, showing your browsing history on heartrt.org as well as pages you may visit immediately before or after visiting heartrt.org
Communications data such as emails you send us or we send you, text messages and phone records.

When you make a donation, email, text or call us, or subscribe to our newsletter, you also give us:

Your contact information – your name, mailing address, billing address, email address, and if you choose to give it, your phone number.

We use third party payment processors through Qgiv and Square, so we do not receive your payment information.

We collect your data for several reasons:

To better improve our services, website, and products.
To be able to communicate with you regarding your donation or about HEART/Heartland Outlet
To communicate better with you about upcoming events, programs, and initiatives, as well as to communicate to our nonprofit partners marketing material about items available in the Distribution Center.

Safeguarding and Securing the Data

HEART Response Ministry is committed to securing your data and keeping it confidential.

We do not share your data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or data collection purposes. We may share your data with trusted members of our organization in order to process donations or send communications to you, to provide customer service or to contact you within our agreed-upon terms.

We keep and store this information for up to 4 years, until we either remove you from the system or you request removal. Upon request, we will promptly remove your information from our system. Contact warehouse@heartrt.org for removal or questions about what information of yours we have.

Protection of Personal Information

We implement safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction of your information.
Security measures include encryption, firewalls, and access control policies.
All third-party providers we hire adhere to the same privacy and security standards.

Our Cookie Policy

Once you agree to allow our website to use cookies, you also agree to allow us to use the data it collects regarding your online behavior (analyze web traffic, heartrt.org pages you spend the most time on) to improve our site and our products. Most of the browsing data we collect is completely anonymous - even we cannot see who is doing the browsing at any given point. Regardless, we value your privacy highly, and hate spam, too, so we will never use your data to contact you in any way outside of what is necessary to fulfill customer service, or an inquiry initiated by you, unless you opt-in to our email marketing.
